New York Giants Win Defeat 49ers and Crowned NFC Champions Ready to Play the New England Patriots for a Super Bowl rematch.
Of course “The New York Football Giants” Entered Sunday’s NFC Championship game against the San Francisco 49ers as an underdog and again came away winners.
The Football experts Picked the Giants to win and move on to the Super Bowl. However Las Vegas odds makers saw the 2012 NFC Championship game a little
different had the San Francisco Forty-niners favored by 2 and a half points on the point spread.
Ok since I am writing this late Saturday night and a huge Giants fan. The NFC Championship game played on Sunday January, 22, 2012 and viewed on Fox,
featuring the 49ers and Giants hasn’t been played yet.
Brandon Jacobs NY Gaints Running Back says The game between the NY Giants and San Fran 49ers will be a
Showdown vs. Niners will be a Bloodbath
Brandon Jacobs “Big Boy” this song is for you!
However that doesn’t really matter because the Giants will win and go to the 2012 Super Bowl here are my reasons.
Coaching – The New York Football Giants are Led by Head Coach Tom Coughlin. He will have his team ready to play on Sunday. This guy would rather let his face freeze off rather than wear a mask. You have to admire his old school toughness.
This photo really tells the story of the relationship between Mr Coughlin and his star quarterback Eli Manning.

Eli Manning (#10 QB) — If you still don’t think Manning is an elite quarterback, you’re just a hater. Manning, who tossed for a career-high
4,933 yards in the regular season, has thrown for 607 yards with six touchdowns through the first two rounds of postseason. Furthermore, he has won six of
his last seven playoff games, including Super Bowl XLII. I think the biggest weapon Eli posses isn’t his throwing arm although he is a super passer, its
his ability to get his team lined up and calling the right plays at the line of scrimmage. You never see him hurt the team at the line of scrimmage. He can
use the hard count at will and get defenders offsides when needed.
The NY Giants Wide Receivers
Who are you going to double cover? The Giants have the best 3 wide-outs in the NFL.
(WR’s) Victor Cruz, Hakeem Nicks and Mario Manningham all have big play capabilities. I am thinking that Tom Coughlin will have the tightend involved as
well using the big 3 wide receivers as a decoy to clear out the middle for some easy over the middle catches. Seems like he was working on the tightend play
all year.
The NY Giants Defensive Line – Here comes Justin Tuck, Osi Umenyiora and Jason Pierre-Paul. It doesn’t matter who your quarterback is when
he doesn’t have time to throw the ball. Right Tom Brady? I just love watching the Super Bowl XLII Champions DVD. Tommy looks a little upset.
San Francisco 49ers Defense
Ok lets give credit to the San Francisco defense they are a very good defensive unit. They are monsters against the run for sure. Let’s try some running plays early if that doesn’t work. The Giants could use the running backs as receivers and blockers. I would like to see some empty back field formations and let them cover all of the receivers. We can play to our strengths and not theirs.
The 49ers offense – Neutralize San Francisco tightens. Vernon Davis is the 49ers tightend, who returned to the NFC title game for the
first time since 1998 in no small part because Davis caught seven balls for 180 yards and two scores in that wild 36-32 NFC divisional playoff win over the
Saints.
No doubt he will be a key player if the San Francisco 49ers want to get by the Giants with a win and move on to the Super Bowl. The Giants front four needs
to get so much pressure on Alex Smith that Vernon Davis has to stay at home and pick up the blitz. I think Micheal Boley can cover him across the middle of
the field. 49ers Run Game – Frank Gore is a Pro, very dangerous. However the NY Giants will be scoring points and lots of them. This will help to neutralize the
threat of the running game.
Almost every year it seems like the real Super Bowl is played in the championship playoffs. This year is no exception. Whoever wins the NFC championship
game will most like be favored to win the Super Bowl. Bottom line both teams are very good whomever has the most points off of turn overs will win the NFC
Title.

What the NFL Experts are say about the Championship Giants vs. 49ers

Let’s see who they pick as the winning NFL team on ESPN

NFL Picks and Predictions for Conference Championships – National Football League – ESPN
What NY Giant Fans are saying about the NFC championship game.
@ryanoceros nice stats, how about this one. GB was the best team in the league. not 24 or 27, #1. they almost went undefeated. they beat us in the regular
season. What did all the mean? absolutely nothing, now GB is at home eating cheese. If anything, it’s looking bad for SF.
The biggest reason I pick the Giants tomorrow is because I’m a Giant fan. That, too, is the main reason Niner fans are predicting a SF win. This is a close
game. Both teams are peaking at the right time– a tradition of playoff success over the years. Both are playing great D. Both O’s are in synch. But the
Giants have a big edge at the skill positions on offense, particularly in the passing game. Eli throwing to Nicks, Cruz, and Manningham trumps Smith to
Crabtree, Vernon Davis and whomever. Still, mostly I am picking the Giants because they’re my team.
This game is evenly matched. NY has the offense SF has the defense. While both SF and NY have proved they aren’t one dimensional last week. I still dont
know where this underdog theory is coming from. SF is favored to win by 2.5 points this week. That being said, i dont think SF is ready for V Cruz. IF NY
wins the Turnover battle we win the game, simple. but underdog mentality is out the window. BIG BLUE!
@dwooo30…Eli Manning is a great QB. Setting the record for the most 4th quarter TD’s this year to lead his team into the playoffs again and on fire at the
right time. He gets it done when he has to which is what makes him Elite. What you think and what is reality and fact are completely different.
There is no Defense in the NFL that can cover Nicks and Cruz.
What 49er Fans are saying about the NFC championship game.
last week Alex showed you haters that he wants a ring more than Bree…ran 28 yrds for TD then turned around and throw a TD pass to Davis…clearly the
facts or stats shows that Eli is a better QB than Alex; but the truth is that Alex is a smarter QB as the records clearly shows. Can’t wait to hear all the
excuses from the haters tomorrow after the game…wah wah wah…
Saints were the #12 Rushing D, and #30 Pass D (Overall D = #24) … Giants were the #19 Rushing D, and #29 Pass D (Overall D = #27) … The Saints were a
better match to the 49ers running game style of offense compared to the Giants. And the Saints were a much better offense too. I’m not hating on the Giants,
but being honest, it’s not looking good for the Giants.
The two aspects of the Giants to most worry about is the passing game, and the defensive line. Everything else they do is not tremendously specials. The
49ers have a complete defensive package, and are solid across all levels of the D, and their defensive line can go toe to toe with the Giants’s any day. On
offense, we have the run game to worry about. The only thing that’s just decent on our team is our passing game. Oh yeah, and we have the best special teams
in the nfl. Go ahead and say they don’t matter, that’ll make my day come tomorrow.
What the Giants and 49er players are saying
“were rooting for the Giants”. – Vernon Davis 49ers
“They better be careful what they ask for,” “Because their wish has been granted.” – Antrel Rolle Giants safety
Whitner is loquacious and accommodating, and he appears to have found a trash-talking loophole, one by which he spent a lot of time talking about how,
unlike the Giants players, the 49ers weren’t going to talk this week. “We’re going to talk on Sunday,” he said. “That’s the only answer we need.
“We will not be denied.” – Antrel Rolle
New York Giants’ Brandon Jacobs “A Little Bit Soft” – EX 49er Jerry Rice
I would love to see Jerry Rice tackle Brandon Jacobs sounds like a good Pay per view special?
