Of course “The New York Football Giants” Entered Sunday’s NFC Championship game against the San Francisco 49ers as an underdog and again came away winners.
The Football experts Picked the Giants to win and move on to the Super Bowl. However Las Vegas odds makers saw the 2012 NFC Championship game a little
different had the San Francisco Forty-niners favored by 2 and a half points on the point spread.

Ok since I am writing this late Saturday night and a huge Giants fan. The NFC Championship game played on Sunday January, 22, 2012 and viewed on Fox,
featuring the 49ers and Giants hasn’t been played yet.

Ok lets give credit to the San Francisco defense they are a very good defensive unit. They are monsters against the run for sure. Let’s try some running plays early if that doesn’t work. The Giants could use the running backs as receivers and blockers. I would like to see some empty back field formations and let them cover all of the receivers. We can play to our strengths and not theirs.

The 49ers offense – Neutralize San Francisco tightens. Vernon Davis is the 49ers tightend, who returned to the NFC title game for the
first time since 1998 in no small part because Davis caught seven balls for 180 yards and two scores in that wild 36-32 NFC divisional playoff win over the

No doubt he will be a key player if the San Francisco 49ers want to get by the Giants with a win and move on to the Super Bowl. The Giants front four needs
to get so much pressure on Alex Smith that Vernon Davis has to stay at home and pick up the blitz. I think Micheal Boley can cover him across the middle of
the field. 49ers Run Game – Frank Gore is a Pro, very dangerous. However the NY Giants will be scoring points and lots of them. This will help to neutralize the
threat of the running game.

Almost every year it seems like the real Super Bowl is played in the championship playoffs. This year is no exception. Whoever wins the NFC championship
game will most like be favored to win the Super Bowl. Bottom line both teams are very good whomever has the most points off of turn overs will win the NFC

It is reported that J.C. Penney’s SEO company SearchDEX was promptly fired once J.C. Penney learned of getting busted by Google.

I find this Amazing because it should be clear to anyone that is a SEO expert that these ranking schemes fail. There are really no short cuts to long term SEO success as JC Penney and there respective corporate officers are finding out.

It is reported from many different new sources that J. C. Penney spent $2.46 million a month on paid Google search ads. I don’t know all the details. I would really love to know the cost for services paid to Searchdex.

I was curious as to the number of inbound web links pointing to the JC Penney’s website. I used a web based tool and it quickly found a total of 83,219 inbound links.

The good news is if your a small independent SEO firm you don’t need to have a very fancy website to attract large corporate clients. Just take a look at the Searchdex website

There was a couple of different items that as an Internet marketing expert would have triggered some red flags. The first red flags is the site news has not been updated since 2007. Seriously? wow, red flag.

Should business hiring an SEO company require some type of performance bond? (guarantee that an SEO contractor will perform the work as specified by the contract) Looking at the SearchDex website I see them mentioning page after page about using best practices in SEO. SEE screen capture.

With all the hype of a recent story about how a business owner increased his web rankings by encouraging negative online reviews. I was wondering if all this negative publicity would actually help JC Penney and it SEO company Searchdex. Seems like I was not the only one. Here is an excerpt from a blog written by Melih Oztalay which echoes this very point.

“Why would the New York Times support these companies with links to their websites? Are they planning on helping them further with their business by helping their ranking position? Afterall, NYTimes.com, as a domain, has a lot of power and links to websites from NYTimes.com will only help the destination website?” I am sure the number of websites pointing to these two websites is now numbering in the 1000’s.

I wanted to some quick research to find out if Searchdex had any other SEO clients. I didn’t see a clients list on their website so I Googled “searchdex client” and found their clients page but its turned out to be a 404 page. Thank God for Google page cashe yep I found it. It was a very nice list of well known brand companies including some of the following:
