Find the Problems Standing Between Your Marketing and Better ROI
Ad Web Designs helps businesses identify and solve online marketing problems that affect visibility, customer acquisition and return on investment.
The problem may be SEO. It may be paid media, conversion rates, attribution, content, competitive positioning or the way search engines and AI systems understand the business.
We don't begin by assuming which service you need. We begin with the available data, determine where opportunities are being lost and identify the problems worth solving first.
We Start With the Questions That Matter
- Where are you losing opportunities?
We examine the available marketing and visibility data to identify meaningful gaps.
- Why is it happening?
We investigate the factors most likely to be contributing to the problem rather than treating the symptom as the cause.
- What is the potential business impact?
Findings are evaluated against the business objective, not simply against marketing metrics.
- What should you change?
Supported findings become specific action items based on the available evidence.
- What should you do first?
Recommendations are prioritized by potential impact, effort and confidence in the available data.
Not Another Marketing Audit. A Plan for What to Do Next.
Most businesses do not need another report filled with hundreds of warnings, rankings and marketing metrics.
They need to know which findings matter, why they matter and what should be done about them.
Ad Web Designs turns the available data into an executive-level assessment designed to help answer the questions business owners and marketing leaders actually need answered.
Your Report Includes
- Executive Summary - The most important findings, opportunities and risks.
- Search and AI Visibility Baseline - Where your business is being found and where important visibility gaps exist.
- Business and Entity Findings - How clearly your company, people, services, expertise and important relationships are represented and understood.
- Competitive Findings - Where selected competitors have meaningful visibility or positioning advantages.
- Supporting Evidence - The available data behind significant conclusions.
- Action Items - Specific recommendations supported by the findings.
- Priority - Recommendations organized around potential business impact, implementation effort and confidence in the available evidence.
- Measurement - The KPIs that can help determine whether the recommended changes actually worked.
When the available evidence does not support a reliable conclusion, the report should say that too.
The goal is not to give you more data. The goal is to help you make better decisions with the data available.
We Don't Start by Assuming Which Service You Need
An SEO company naturally looks for SEO problems. A paid media agency looks at advertising. A web development company looks at the website. An AI optimization company looks for AI visibility problems.
Any of those may be where the opportunity exists. Or they may not be.
Ad Web Designs starts with the business objective and works backward through the available evidence.
A traffic problem may actually be a visibility problem. Poor advertising ROI may be caused by targeting, conversion rates, lead quality or attribution. Strong search visibility may coexist with weak AI visibility. A content problem may actually be an information architecture problem.
Sometimes the marketing is performing better than management realizes because the measurement system is incomplete.
Solving the wrong problem efficiently is still solving the wrong problem.
The first job is diagnosis.
Ultimately, We're Solving Online ROI Problems
Search rankings matter. AI citations matter. Traffic matters. Leads matter.
But they are intermediate outcomes.
The business eventually needs customers, cases, sales, revenue or another measurable result that justifies the investment required to produce it.
“You don't take clicks or leads to the bank. You take conversions to the bank.”
That philosophy has guided Ad Web Designs through multiple generations of digital marketing.
When sufficient business data is available, the analysis should move beyond marketing-platform metrics and toward the economics that actually matter.
That may mean examining qualified leads, customer acquisition cost, conversion rates, revenue, return on ad spend or other downstream business outcomes.
When those data are not available, we measure as far down the conversion path as reliable information permits and clearly identify where the evidence stops.
Digital Marketing Since 1996
Three Decades of Watching Digital Marketing Change
Ad Web Designs was founded in 1996, before Google became the dominant search engine, before Google Ads, before social media and decades before generative AI became another way for people to discover businesses.
Bill Scott has spent his career working through those changes rather than entering digital marketing during the latest one.
Over that time, the tools became more sophisticated, advertising platforms became more automated, attribution improved, search engines became better at understanding information and entirely new discovery environments emerged.
The terminology changed too.
SEO, PPC, CRO, programmatic advertising, social media, machine learning, generative AI, AEO, GEO and whatever comes next all describe technologies, channels or approaches that exist inside a larger business problem.
The underlying questions remain remarkably familiar:
- Who is the customer?
- What are they trying to accomplish?
- Where can they be reached?
- Why should they choose this business?
- What does it cost to acquire them?
- Was the result worth the investment?
Understand what changed. Preserve what works. Test what's new. Measure the result.

Who Is This For?
This engagement is designed for established businesses that already invest in digital marketing and want an independent view of what is working, what has changed and where meaningful opportunities may exist.
It is particularly useful when:
- Marketing spend is significant but ROI is unclear.
- SEO traffic or rankings have changed without a clear explanation.
- The company wants to understand its visibility in AI search.
- Competitors appear to be gaining visibility.
- Different agencies or internal teams manage different channels.
- Management has plenty of reports but few clear recommendations.
- The company is considering a major change in digital strategy.
- Leadership wants an experienced independent opinion before spending more.
Ad Web Designs is not trying to become another layer of reporting. The objective is to identify the issues that deserve management's attention and provide a practical path forward.
You Own the Strategy. What Happens Next Is Up to You.
The assessment is designed to produce useful recommendations without requiring the client to replace its internal marketing team, existing agency or technology stack.
Your team can implement the recommendations internally. Existing vendors can use the findings. Additional specialists can be brought in where needed.
When appropriate, Ad Web Designs may also be able to provide additional strategic guidance or help determine the best way to implement selected recommendations.
The assessment has value whether or not additional work follows.
